Dear Parents and Students –
Welcome to the 2020-21 academic year – a school season which promises to be unlike any other. The Parent Teacher Student Association is a powerful ally in your student’s educational experience. This year we’re fortunate that your participation may be more convenient than ever — in light of new technologies like Zoom. We rely on your support in the form of memberships for our programs.
We acknowledge the unique struggles of this year for many families and we count on the connections between our members and educators to support us in the challenging year ahead.
You can help – JOIN PTSA and DONATE to support this mission.
If you have not joined PTSA or paid your membership dues, please do so as soon as possible, so we can get you into our new Memberhub communication system for vital school communication. Membership dues can be paid by sending a check of $10 per adult or student plus donations. There are two easy ways to join or renew.
- Join PTSA with this printable form online at http://bit.ly/dptsa-2021. Mail or drop off at the school, with a check made out to “DASH PTSA.”
- Join ONLINE via the Memberhub Store – the easy online way to support PTSA.
Let us know if you’d like to volunteer for the board! We always benefit from fresh new ideas. Thank you for supporting DASH and its PTSA. We’re looking for parents of freshman or sophomore students who might make a good recording secretary.
P.S. To opt-in for email updates only, you can visit https://dash.memberhub.com/join/93amdz

The Covid pandemic has presented new challenges for public schools in safely educating our children. In light of these challenges, the DASH PTSA has purchased 49 air purifiers for all of the school’s classrooms and cafeteria. This was a particularly expensive project for the PTSA.
The PTSA is also working on the purchase of picnic tables/umbrellas to allow students to eat lunch in a comfortable, but socially distanced way.
We greatly appreciate any and all support for the cost of this important equipment.
